Second Spin

We don't believe a functioning product can be produced on the first spin, even if the developer had unlimited time and resources.  That never happens of course, so a developer with a limited budget and under serious time pressure is somehow supposed to get it right the first time.  It joust won't happen.

We believe that if the initial design includes the assumption of a second spin a successful project will be completed more quickly and cheaply than is otherwise possible.  We still try hard to get as much right as possible the first time, but we can afford to be less obsessive compulsive

Additionaly, a second spin provides a low cost way to incorporate inevitable "feature creep".
